Heavy..

Lately, a lot has been on my mind..
Really very tired and fatigue, and things just keep falling. Not everything though..

Firstly, let me tell you I'm gonna be signing up for National Service. Due to one reason and only this one: For my future, working future.

Why?
This culinary school called Sunrice (I know, weird name) is my school choice over SHATEC, cause is better but costs more, like $23 000 for everything over 1year 6 months or more.

During attachment, I'll get to work at very high class places and offer $600 a month.

But if I go NS first, the government pays 90% of the school fees which just leaves me with $2300 to pay, and during attachment instead of getting $600, the government will give me an additional $600 which rounds it up to $1200..

The reason they do this is so that after attachment, the very good restaurant can employ me straight instead of waiting me to complete NS.

So with all these benefits, how not to choose?? But I'll be sacrificing when going to NS as I'll only be going in with O level cert, and won't get to high ranks and posted maybe to front line or crappier places. It's either I sacrifice one or the other.

Either way, It takes a toll on me.. It's just so hard to choose NS first but what choice do I have if I want a brighter future..

I made so many sacrifices from as young as I can remember, taking blames, giving up dreams.
I know someone is watching my sacrifices, I know it'll pay off.

I'll sow in tears, a sure definite, but I know I will reap in joy.

The other night, I stayed up with my mum to get our tickets to Europe which we did get and also looking at places to go and also hotels. Planning trips isn't easy. I was so darn tired for work the next day. This whole week I didn't get sleep, only today morning.

One thing I learnt is not to take things for granted, even the very small things, cause when you are the one doing it, it's hard work.

Two cups, giving and receiving equally, in the end, they are equal still.
My song that keeps me going, Lonely Nation by Switchfoot.
Check it out.
